Commercial implementations/service modes

Direct to business model (B2B)

In this model, EMS utilises EO Backup to directly market backup services to customers. A web page directs customers to the EO Backup Customer Portal, where they can register and add services. Recurring payments are processed through credit or debit card transactions. Manual payment processing is also available.

(Online signup is currently available for M365 and Salesforce backup services. Support for Cloud Connect Backup-as-a-service is scheduled for future implementation.)

Partner sales model

EO Backup supports sales through distributors, resellers and managed service providers. The ability to sell services in this model is enabled through the support of custom contracts and channel ordering. The EO Backup Portal has support for managed service providers to administer multiple customer accounts on a technical level.

Service provider model

EO Backup was designed to be further developed into a product for service providers. In this model, the EO Backup software stack can be deployed in service provider environments, with contracted support provided by EMS. This option enables service providers to address region sovereignty concerns by running an instance of the EO Backup system and Veeam software within their service provider environments.

The service provider may utilise the software as a deployment and management system and/or as a website-driven online service (similar to the Direct to Business model previously discussed).
