What is EO Backup for Service Providers and Resellers?
EO Backup is a collection of software systems that provide Backup-as-a-Service with user-friendly customer self-management. EO Backup is a wrap-around system for Veeam’s data backup products.
EO Backup offers three commercial implementations: direct to business, partner sales, and service provider. The service provider model allows for region sovereignty concerns to be addressed by running the software in the service provider’s environment.
Why did we develop EO Backup?
EO Backup was developed to address the growing need for data backups against the backdrop of increased ransomware and data loss risk. EMS selected Veeam as the core backup technology due to Veeam's leadership position in the data backup position.
While Veeam is the industry leader in data protection their software is typically out of reach for many consumers. Veeam provides their data backup solutions as standalone pieces of software that are difficult to install, difficult to configure and difficult to maintain.
EO Backup solves the complexity of running Veeam backup software by providing users with Backup-as-a-service that is easily managed through a simplified web-based control panel interface. The complexity of the underlying Veeam service configuration and service management is abstracted through EO Backup’s backend automation.
EO Backup allows customers to benefit from industry leading data backups without the complexity of running an entire bespoke Veeam backups system.
EO Backup has also been designed to be able to deploy in multiple geographic regions through the use of AWS, Azure or Datacentre based infrastructure.
