Veeam Licensing

Our service uses Veeam Backup for Salesforce software as its back-up engine. 

In addition to our EO service fees shown above, the customer must purchase a Veeam Backup for Salesforce (VBSF) license.

  • Community license (up to 50 users): free.
  • 1-300 Users:  £2.61 per user
  • 301 - 1,000 Users: £2.44 per user per month 
  • 1,001 - 2,500 Users £2.26 per user per month
  • 2500+ users, contact us.

All Veeam licenses are currently payable annually in advance.

Discounts are available for longer term commitments (1 to 5 years).

Customers are welcome to use an existing Veeam license that they have purchased elsewhere.

Support limitations and conditions apply to the Veeam Community license.

Data Transfer (AWS)

EO Backup's Salesforce Backup services and Salesforce's services are hosted within the AWS network. Most of the data traffic between EO Backup's AWS servers and Salesforce's AWS servers is classified as 'free' inbound data transfer. 

In rare instances, AWS may impose data transfer fees for outbound data transfers from EO Backup's servers. These fees typically apply to activities such as backup restores or other significant data downloads. To minimise the impact on our customers, we include an AWS data transfer allowance of £10 per month with each EO Backup for Salesforce Backup service. This allowance is designed to cover the majority of typical use cases. However, if a customer's usage exceeds the monthly allowance, EO Backup will charge the additional AWS data transfer costs incurred beyond the £10/month data transfer allowance.
