Is access to the EO Backup Portal Secure?
Yes, our portal is secured by requiring both password and 2FA authentication.
Do you enforce multi-factor authentication for service management?
Yes, access to the EO Backup Customer Portal requires multi-factor authentication for all enrolled users.How is access to the self-service configuration portal and self-service restore portal implemented?
An authentication gateway requiring multi-factor authentication for all enrolled users protects access to EO Backup Customer Portal and the Veeam Self-Service Restore Portal.
How often will my Salesforce data be backed up?
On our Entry level plan your Salesforce data will be backed up once daily.
On our Advanced and Performance level plans you can choose your frequency of back-ups and also do one off ad-hoc back-ups.
What Monitoring and Alerting is Included?
The Veeam Software Appliance can be configured to send emails notifications of backup success/failures to the customer and the EO support team.
EO will investigate alerts when the customer Veeam Software Appliance, customer database, and/or required services fail to respond to automated response checks in weekday business hours
What level of management is included with EO Backup for Salesforce?
We provide a private containerised processing instance of the Veeam Backup for Salesforce software to each individual customer.
We manage the AWS resources for each private instance.
We also look after the security of each instance which includes applying software updates to the operating system and Veeam software components.
What is the difference between Salesforce data and metadata?
